Recycled Greens
As reported earlier Bruce Friesen will be running for the BC Greens in Burnaby-Deer Lake, but elsewhere in Burnaby the party will be practicing the green idea of recycling. Carrie McLaren in Burnaby-Edmonds and Doug Perry in Burnaby North both recently ran in the Burnaby ridings federally.
McLaren and Perry are not the only former federal candidates with Burnaby connections running for the BC Greens. Rev Warkentin, running in Vancouver-Kingsway, was the federal Green candidate in 2004 in Burnaby-New Westminster. At the time of the 2004 campaign she was on the ballot as Revel Kunz. Also running is Matthew Laird, who is contesting New Westminster. Laird ran for DRBC in Burnaby North in the last provincial election.

Maybe they could recycle Friesen.
Garbage recycling is the in thing these days.
Very nice analogy, are they garbage like plastic bag that you carry and throw once they have been depleted of their values, or like damaged goods, where they are simply garbage without any value.
I would say, garbage as they may be, BCLIB would probably welcome them, since they may be garbage to one one group for now, they will only become garbage to the others later.
Some kinds garbage isn't accepted by garbage dumps.
Such vile crap. No wonder the Liberals are gonna build a prison here.
Welcome to the new reality in politics.
Not everyone thinks Friesen is the best thing in Burnaby since spiced curly fries.
Burnaby has been a dump site for want to be politicians for decades.
Friesen is just fresh arrival at the top of the heap.
