2-year deficit

With under 100 days to go until this year's election will be all over, the BC Liberals have announced that there will be a two-year deficit.

Could this possibly the un-Fudge-It-budget?

It's more of the BC Liberal government violating its own legislation.

They passed legislation in their first term prohibiting deficit budgets.

Trust me, BCLIB does not need any more lessons in deficit making from BCNDP.

People talk about economy, and yet the way BCNDP is picking its candidates in Burnaby has so far failed to show the party's dedication in that issue. With Obama ready to go into deficits to boost the economy in the States, Gordon Campbell has now a double digit opinion poll lead as his cushion to produce a budget deficit that I would say BC'ers are ready to accept. And I certainly do no think BCNDP who is even further to the left than trillion-dollar-stimulus Democrats in the States would actually spend any less.

Campbell is being hypocritical.

and to compare BC politics with the political direction in the United States is just being silly.

Sure there is the economic downturn, but Campbell should stick to what he kept telling people for years:

"Balanced budgets".

He's heading towards violating his own legislation.

I'd call it a "Fucked-it" Budget.

Campbell screwed up once again.

BC Liberals are supposed to be
balanced budgets. The NDP is supposed to be deficit budgets.
