You don't know Jack

Jack Layton is scheduled to be in Burnaby tomorrow at BCIT. It looks like the parties see Burnaby-Douglas as a hotly contested battleground that is worth the fight.

Of course it is a hotly contested riding, no matter how some NDP members tare telling themselves yes they are gonna win.

Why is Jack Layton in the riding again? Simple, as Jack tries to align himself more with liberal party policies, the two Bills are becoming more interchangable as time goes on. If voting for NDP is equal to voting liberals, then why do people even both for both parties. I looks to me that the liberal supporters are going all the way to Ronald Leung. Dr. Leung should be able to surprise many.

Jack is in the riding to help win seats.

The two Bills are not interchangable.

Liberal supporters may go for Dr. Leung, but many more NDP supporters will go for Siskay since he is an incumbent.

Bill Cunningham is in a part that is going to be suprised at what they see on October 15th.

Cunningham no doubt after the usual platitudes will get busy to align himself with the next leader of the Liberals, Iggy.

Billy Cunningham will go wherever Mark Marissen leads him and Marissen doesn't like Iggy.

Looks like the problem with the Libs is that they don't have any strong leaders. The reason Dion won last time is the ineptness of the rest.

When you have a proven flop like Rae on the short list you know you are in deep doo doo. The NDP should move towards the centre if they want to succeed but their problem is some of the whacko hardliners they have and the labour unions. If they were to cut out union funding and help the NDP would be cooked in a couple of elections.

Love the headline on CTV:

"Layton outlines $1 billion catastrophic drug plan"

It sounds like a catastrophe to me, too!

The NDP is planning to put all those pot-smokers they don't like on prescription meds!

The NDP does frequent polling in their ridings and the ones they hope to win. They only have to do about 35-40 so it's easy. If Jack is back in Burnaby so soon, it's because their numbers show just how weak Bill Siksay is. He'll be back again for the same reason in another week or so.

Ronald Leung may well be on his way to Ottawa as our new MP. It will be great to have an MP who is actually part of the gv't. I think Burnaby may just have grown up.

Don't count your politicians until they are in the House of Commons.

There's many reasons why leaders visit regions. Not nessesarily to "shore up" low ridings.

Many wish the poster of this would grow up or at least take a slap in the face for being so blindly loyal to Ronald Leung.

Leung was not born in a manager.

Doesnt matter, but if Jesus were alive physically living in Burnaby, He would vote for Ronald Leung over Bills in no time.

So what is the problem. Yes, Jack Layton is going towards the centre. What a coincidence, Carole James is about to do the same. But typical voters are not as dumb as they take them to be. Why is Jack Layton in Burnaby? Is he here to re-affirm the core values of his supporters or is he here to preach his new found values? I am afraid it is the latter in hopes that old liberals will actually switch. Unfortunately, those voting for Bill C will only shift to the right, and there is no chance Bill Siksay's number will increase.

Burnaby welcomes Jack Layton to stage his dramatic speech about how he "understands" the struggles of typical Canadians, but unfortunately, as their internal poll has likely indicated, Bill Siksay is a goner.

Considering that Jesus was born to Jewish parents (Christianity did not exist when he was born), and Jesus was more of a socially based
liberal (i.e. helping out others) rather than a Conservative.

They won't. Don't bet on hypothesis.

How wuld you know that? Bill is an incumbent. Most people voted for him second time around as opposed to Billy Boy because of his work as an MP.

Will you be a goner if Ronald Leung is a goner?

So what happend to all of this rhetoric about having the Conservatives not running a candidate so that candidate for all Bill Cunningham can win against Siskay??

That went down faster than a Canucks victory against the Sharks in the first period.

Hmmm ... this is interesting
http://www.voteforenvironment.ca/node/115

Seems that Siksay and Cunningham are gonna have to work together if they want to stop Leung from winning the riding.

Anyone want to trade Vcr-Kingsway for Bby-Douglas?
Or will it be Vcr Centre?

More silly statements.

Siskay isn't going to work with Cunningham since Cunningham is out to win, and Siskay wants his job back.

As for vote environment, what's interesting about it?

Jsut stating facts. Incumbents have an edge over other candidates including ones backed by silly supporters such those in this blog who support Leung.

Everyday we engage in metabolic activities that we are unaware of. Our bodies need and require energy to perform every physical and mental activity. We source our energy from food. Our ingested food is broken down in our mouth and digested in our stomachs. Our food passes through our intestines after being digested completely via saliva and gastric acid. The amount of food we take in is directly related to the amount of available energy to our bodies. Our physical activities consume and burn the largest portion of energy. When we don't exert enough effort in burning the energy from the food, this energy is later stored in our bodies as fats. Weight loss for men is different than it is for women because men believe in no pain, no gain. Plano phentermine 37.5mg information So there are two sides to anyweight lossprogram - diet and exercise. Any exercise is healthy and only you can decide what will fit into your lifestyle. If you are pressed for time and can't go to the gym, even something as simple as walking can help you reach your goals. You have to burn more calories than you take in, but how you achieve that is up to you. The other side to the program is eating healthy. If you don't eat properly you won't have the energy to workout. If you eat too much or too much of the wrong thing, you won't lose weight. An online program can help you with that, but it all goes back to you knowing what your goals are. It can teach you what is right to eat and what is not.
