Municipal workers

Reports are municipal workers have voted 93-percent in favour of strike action in Burnaby. If a strike takes place things could get interesting as residents see services reduced or shut down. For what's at stake check out FairnessforCivicWorkers.ca.

They should strike before July 4th. That would mean City Hall would have be in a pickle getting property tax returns processed.

That wouldn't bother the citizens too much.

Can Lee Rankin drive and operate a street vacuum / sweeper?

Can Garth Evans operate a city garbage truck?

Can Derek Corrigan go out and write 3 PM parking violation tickets?

What about Gary? Can he pack down
hot in place asphalt patches?
