Will this one quit too?

Lily Harvey looks like she is running to be the next Liberal candidate in Burnaby-New Westminster. (Supposedly she does web design.)

Longtime Liberal Gerry Lenoski dropped out of the race to endorse not so longtime Liberal and ex-NDP candidate Steve McClurg a few weeks back. Soon after that McClurg dropped out leaving the Liberals with no one to take on Peter Julian.

Rumours are already circulating that the party will put a female candidate in another unwinable riding like they have been doing in snap nominations across the province.

Probably a step up from Pynenburg or Rankin.

Anyone would be a step up from
Pynenburg.

Most of the Liberal candidates this time around are the Koolaid Drinkers looking to get ahead down the road.

If they pedal their tricycles hard enough, they'll make it to the next block before the light changes from green to red.

Or we can always wish that she will face the formidable force that is our friend Lee Rankin in a true nomination Liberal battle.
Eh?

He tried before and bombed.

Burnaby -New West Libs probably will not be able to recruit Lee Rankin as a candidate even if they went down on their knees & paid him a million bucks.

Why would they? They burned him
like dry Douglas Fir needled branches in a good campfire when he tried for the nomination in 2004.

Too bad though.

If Lee was to toss out the idiots that ran his 2005 civic campaign and got some real talent for a federal election campaign, he would have made it through, and Peter Julian would have been looking for something else to do.

But those hangers on want success
as measured by their chequing accounts not success as measured by
putting in a quality MP.

Us federal Liberals could use a really good candidate like Lee if
he brought in real talent to run his campaign for us.

I think that you’re exaggerating the facts here; I checked the 2004 nomination results and Rankin lost by 12%, that’s not really bombing at the nomination. I don’t know the “idiots” that ran his campaign, but I meet Lee Rankin before and he’s someone that I would like to see in the government, cause I’ve had enough of some of the sleazy politicians who line up their pockets.

Doens't matter. He lost, therefore he bombed.

Rankin unfortunately has had a few of his campaigns run by sleazy so-called 'experts' who line up their pockets.

There are ten comments on this article before mine, Of those, eight are snide and meaningless and intended to be hurtful.

Last week there was an article that went one week without any response at all. Does this webmaster have any quality bar at all; or does he/she just specialize in trash?

Burnaby is a political dump.

There's more toxic garbage in Burnaby politics than you'd find in a City of Burnaby garbage truck.

The blogger does not specialize in trash, but there is a party that does, guess which one?

Has to be Team Burnaby.

That party is a political dump.

Actually I was gonna say the party that recycles a candidate 3 times in a row and couldnt find a garbage truck for the other.

That has to be Team Burnaby.

The party itself should be thrown in the garbage truck and later incinerated.

Actually that's not the one...
There is a party that recylces its candidate three times in a row in on riding and cant find a garbage truck for the other riding.

This Blog is not as informative as I thought it would be, there is only one editor who is completely biased and one or two people who make one sided comments. Everyone who comments on this site does in anonymously (no reason for me to setup an account since I won't be using this blog anymore), so there is no real credibility since someone can just lie and not be held accountable.

Has to be the federal Liberals.

Bily Boy (2004), Billy Boy (2005),
and Billy Boy (2007).

But Team Burnaby has a few who have run three times and never won
much of anything.

Liberals continue to give these ridings like candies I guess NDPs are loving it.

Meanwhile, Team Burnaby gives out nominations to preferred candidates like candies.

I guess the BCAers are loving it.
