The Georgia Straight is giving C grades to Burnaby MLAs John Nuraney and Richard Lee for their work over the last two years in Victoria.

I'd give Richard Lee a C+.
I'd give John Nuraney a D with
"see me" written next to it.
Richard Lee is a smart guy, after the scare he got last time, I dont think there is a problem for him to go undefeated. I would suggest Pietro Calendino stay put cuz he sure aint gonna take him down.
But John Nuraney, that's another story. It's public knowledge that his riding is the most vulnerable riding in Burnaby and the NDP nomination will be a coveted seat fought between parachute Gabriel Yiu vs NDP old timers.
John Nuraney is a great guy, but unfortunately he has one of the most abysmal riding associations around. Too bad too, 'cuz that riding could have gone places if it was managed alot better, but it's the result of the same old interference by everyone's political poster boy "BB" and his friends.
The only one that is worse than his is Burnaby Edmonds.
I would doubt that Gabriel Yiu would run again, the NDP would be smart to find a much better candidate.
Cant blame them, there are more than one councillor that wants to replace John anyway. They just cant find the chance, I would like to see Gary Evans challenging the sitting incumbent, and if he can get the establishment's blessing he will safe hold this riding.
Regarding Gabriel Yiu, he is extremely active in the NDP community and he is certain to take another shot at MLA as he will be the perfect moderate candiadte for Carole James to market to the voters.
I'll give ANY Burnaby MLA any grade they want to get out of Dodge.
All they have to do is check in their six guns and pay raise at the door.
Obscenity is in the eye (wallet) of the beholder.
Do Bloy and Chouhan not make the grade?
Both get a D.
Harry for his excessive influence peddling in the BC Liberal Party
and meddling in civic politics plus his wearing his Scout uniform on Budget Day this year.
Chouhan for not making an effort to serve the voters.
