Better late than never?
George Drazenovic's campaign is looking at having an open house this Saturday. This comes only 16 days before the vote.
Drazenovic's campaign has had many problems in the early going and has only gotten moving in the new year.

You mean his mom has the day off and can spend some time on his campaign?
Talk about a hopeless campaign.
George is looking at cashing in on the stock market. The worst thing that could happen to him is win the Burnaby Douglas election. He would miss out on the windfall.
Let's hope George does well on the stock market, and Billy Boy ends up going back to working at a bank.
Looks like BC is running a better campaign than last time. It appears to be neck and neck. Sicksay is in for a horsey chase.
BC couldn't run a good campaign anytime. He's just an "aw shucks"
kid that has had political opportunity and privilege handed to
him on a dinner plate.
Siskay will take the riding.
Just like Siksay got the riding handed to him on a plate when Svend took off after the jewellery heist.
The NDP does go through a nomination meeting system. Billy Boy did not last year as Billy Boy was appointed directly by Martin himself.
At least Siskay has spent time behind the constituency office desk helping the voters in Douglas on behalf of Mr. Jewerly Thief.
Billy Boy has spent time in his political appointment.
I see GC had an open house on Saturday 12-2. I guess he had a shareholders meeting he had to get to at 3.
Hey, that's funny. I like it.
"Just like Siksay got the riding handed to him on a plate"
What the hell are you talking about? Siksay defeated a city councillor at a democratic nomination meeting! Billy Boy only got the 2004 nomination because PMPM appointed him against the wishes of the party membership.
and this year Billy Boy was acclaimed, simply because mostif not all of the Executive in the federal Liberal Riding Association are Billy Boy Boyz.
This guy has never had to put himself to the real test in a nomination meeting.
Siskay bumped off an NDP contender who was previously on Burnaby Council representing the BCA.
Also note that the NDP has a 90 day time limit for new members to vote at a nomination meeting. If such a rule were in place for the Conservatives, GD would never have won either of his ethnic vote stacks.
How someone can win a conservative nomination as a leftie idealogue takes support from people who don't support any political position.
