Poison ivy rather than missletoe

Conservative Burnaby-New Westminster candidate Paul Forseth hosted a Christmas breakfast fundraiser in New Westminster this morning. Critical of the opposition, Forseth spoke to a crowd of approximately 50 supporters about the need to be ready for an election now.

Forseth will challenge three-term NDP incumbent Peter Julian whenever an election is called.

From a Liberal perspective it would be better if Paul FDorseth won the riding over Peter "son of a Liberal father" Julian. Forseth is old, Julian is young. Forseth will retire soon and Liberals will be able to retool and make a serious challenge for the seat. Julian will probably have entered provincial politics by then.

From a Liberal perspective it would be better for a Conservative to win?

That's just funny!

funny "weird"
not funny "ha ha"

Won't happen. Julian will take the riding. He's been MP for too long and the NDP is too set into the riding to try and take it out.

Could try though.

Julian wouldn't enter provincial poitics. It's a step down for him.

The Liberals need a new leader and they need one fast. But not Bob
Rae the NDPer.

The Liberal campaign was doomed inBC the moment Ignatieff made Jatinderrai his BC campaign chair. That's why the Liberals don;t have a candidate in Burnaby New westminster. Jatinder Rai is holding things up while he searched for a lapdog candidate who is acceptable to his boss Mark Marissen.

Mark Marissen is still around?

Gawd you'd think Mr. Christy Clark would get out into the private sector (away from being a "political consultant" which many hacks seem to get into) and
into a real job.

Why do the Liberals keep this guy around?

The Liberals can't get rid of Mark Marissen. He has parasitically attached himself to the under belly of the party. These days he works by proxy through his henchmen like Jatinder Rai. But he still pulls the strings behind the scenes.

Bullcrap. It would take a few complaints to remove him.

Those strings are being pulled because too many people let him
and they take the bait.

Trust me, with the Liberals the way they are now, Marissen isn't
in any scope of influential power.

Probable that he's part of the problem is the position of the federal BC Liberals are in where they are now.

Liberals lack leader prospects. Just look at that sorry lot that ran at their last convention and to make matters worse look at the flake they elected as leader.
Liberals probably have to move more to the right. They are getting too close to the NDP. They should get rid of the NDP opportunists they have like Dosanjh, Rae and the rest of them.
The electorate are not that stupid that they don't smell an opportunist.

The Liberals need yet another make over. Lose the arrogance and get someone that inspires Canadians and get quality candidates.

and lose the internal manipulation of candidate meetings. Let the membership decide who they want amongst the choices presented and then live with the choice and get on with actually presenting a real campaign, not an opportunity for the political hacks to make bucks for that X-Box and the latest EA Games they didn't get for Christmas.

"Good day !."

Look kid. I'm a bit busy here, whaddya want..

Oh great.. a sales pitch.

Have a seat. You have five minutes.

Go.

"You re, I guess , probably curious to know how one can collect a huge starting capital . "

Not really. It's called "finding
accessible financial resources".

There is no need to invest much at first. You may start to get income with as small sum of money as 20-100 dollars.

"AimTrust is what you thought of all the time"

Never heard of AimTrust.

Prospectus? Annual Report?

"Its head office is in Panama with affiliates around the world."

A bit suspect there. Why Panama?
There's no oil and gas exploration
there.

Who are these affiliates?

"Do you want to become really rich in short time? "

Sure. Why not. Everyone does. Would
defiantely get me out of this hellhole of a blog.

"That`s your choice That`s what you wish in the long run!"

Look kid - what I wish is a lot of things, such as a hot woman with
an intelligent mind between the ears, plus annual nice trips to exotic locales, and a condo facing
southwest in the Edmonds area would
be good too.

"I`m happy and lucky, I began to get real money with the help of this company,
and I invite you to do the same."

Yeah? And..?

"If it gets down to choose a proper partner utilizes your savings in a right way - that`s AimTrust!."

Um yeah, sure.

"I earn US$2,000 per day, and what I started with was a funny sum of 500 bucks!

Mr. Potato-Head, it's not possible
to earn $2000 U.S. a day through
a funny named company. I'd like to
see your sales reporting for the
past year.

Why do I need you for this? So you can just cream off what I get?

Sounds like a scam to me.

You've wasted enough time in here,
so.. get out.

Peter Julian's Achilles Heel is his lack of support from the Asian communiuties. If Forseth and his Conservatives can succeed in mobilizing the Asian vote, they should be able to beat Julian. Of course if the Liberals wise up and run a strong Asian candidate, all this is in jeopardy.

Oh great here we go with that "Asian Communities" again.

The Liberals wise up?

That has to be a joke, right?

If they are serious about actually doing that, they should lose their
leader before the next federal budget.
