Why would this company want them in their offices? Is he looking at doing some improvements on his home?

If I worked there, I'd file for the day off, and make sure my desk was locked up, and covered with a blue blanket.

My God - they're Russian!

Ironic.

Dont Russians rank right up there with the polluting countries that want very little part of helping the environment.

Yep they rank right up there with the United States.

Me thinks China and India are ahead of them.

There was a study a few years ago that Canada under the Liberals was worse than Bush's USA in controlling pollution.

That wouldn't be possible since the U.S. had spewed out much more pollution than Canada (esp. in the
Eastern parts, where there is coal ash sludge in rivers, and leachates from old steel mills, etc. etc.)

But to be somewhat fair, China
is bad for pollution, there's factories there that are spewing out goo that are making the local citizen population sick.

But the biggest problem in Canada when it comes to the federal Liberals is trying to control the emissions from their candidates MPs and their leader.

"spewing out goo"

Good to see the sophistication of the readers on this board.

This "board" isn't all that sophisticated.

Lots of goo around here.

Certainly lots of goo, but be thankful there's not alot of ooze.

At least not yet.

Have seen a bit of slime around here though.

Iggy had some interesting comments about the need to work with Russian scientists during his talk at the Vancouver Board of Trade.

Apparently, he seems to think we either join the world in developing new energy technology, or follow others with different agendas.

The Liberal leader avoided mention of nuclear power, unlike this guy writing from "The heart of Peace" ...

Does anyone really care what Iggy has to say?

The current polling say "um, not really. Come back to us when he has something useful to offer.."

Nobody cares at all.
That's why this is happening.

Nuclear power isn't going anywhere
in Canada. It will be years before that project even passes by the environmental review.

Besides, that power initiative is in Alberta, not B.C.

You'd be better off worrying about nuclear accidents at the Springfield Nuclear Plant.
