How'd he not understand?
Peter Julian has been bragging about his status as the top rookie MP and the top B.C. MP in the last Parliament using statistics from How'd They Vote?. When one looks more carefully at the website, the site emphasis is on whether someone voted for or against proposed legislation. Julian has been playing up the words spoken function of the site, where Julian ranks 301st out of all the MPs. Julian claims that his love for his own voice is a good quality in a Member of Parliament.

At least Julian broke the party line on An Act to amend the Criminal Code (theft of a motor vehicle)......... Bill Siksay only broke the party line on an Act to amend the Criminal Code (prohibited sexual acts.
Next thing we will see is that farm near Seattle where that guy has sex with a horse move up to Burnaby Douglas.
Julian also defeated legislation to strength penalties for hit and run drivers. He wasn't up to speed on agreeing to passing legislation to strengthen penalties to street racers, either.
