Tory, Tory, Tory
Rumours are circulating in Conservative circles that the two Burnaby ridings, along with the New Westminster-Coquitlam riding, will be running a joint campaign in the pending federal general election.
With resources stretched to the limit, because of both there having already been two B.C. elections in 2005 and the 2004 election being less than a year and a half ago, local riding election campaigns are looking for ways to keep costs down so they can get the most bang for their buck.
The Burnaby/New Westminster/Coquitlam Tories are not the only group considering this option. Among other places where a joint campaign will take place will be in Surrey for the federal Liberals who will run four campaigns in a co-ordinated effort.

with the Liberals in Surrey, expect Ron Churchill, Brian Bonney and Mark Robertson in on that one.
All of them helped Gulzar Cheema
the federal Liberal in the previous federal election.
None were cary carrying federal Liberals prior to that. In fact
Churchill is more right wing than many Conservatives.
Brian and Mark will go where there is money to be slipped in the wallet.
This right after they close up the
Team Burnaby effort.
Expect them to sell themselves as
"political experts".
In reality..
Same pigs, different troughs.
Probably a good idea. Rumour has it many of the losing candidates in the last Fed Election spent a bunch of money on useless non-effective efforts.
Getting some savvy and experienced individuals involved would probably help them rather than hinder.
That would eliminate Brian and Mark. Robertson hasn't run or been a part of a winning campaign since 2001 (but the BC Liberals could run Ed the Sock and still would have run. Come to think of it, Ed the Sock would have been a better and mroe interesting candidate than Harry Bloy).
We had enough interesting candidates when the inept bunch of NDP'ers were in there prior to Bloy being elected. I would take "uninteresting" over inept any day.
That crew couldn't manage a panty raid in a wh0re house.
Niether could Harry Bloy. He'd be
too busy figuring out what good it
would be for him and what is it that he would get from it.
Huh??
Harry Bloy works for Harry Bloy and the guy is overdosing on power
and influence as his friends
Hilford and Bonney.
