Hot Wheels
TEAM Burnaby mayoral candidate Andrew Stewart has an elaborate promotion system. Not only is he getting sole billing on the TEAM Burnaby lawn signs and top billing on both sizes of the huge signs, but he is also getting some fast coverage in a red Corvette featuring his name in prominent positions. Some might say the car is as difficult to read as the big blue signs, but given that it is an election campaign that car will most likely not be speeding too much through the streets of Burnaby between now and Saturday of next week.

More amateurish ideas from an amateurish group.
Signs on the sides of cars went out with the boater hats with a ribbon around it.
Just hope that Corvette sticks to the speed limit and obeys all traffic laws. If I see him and he's not obeying traffic laws, I'll get his tail number and fink on him to the RCMP.
Dont worry he wont get caught. Not enough RCMP in Burnaby to enforce trivial stuff like speed limits.
He will if an observant citizen finks on him and launches a complaint about his driving habits.
I don't think he'll be driving very quickly thru the streets of Burnaby cuz the slower he goes the more attention he will get! Duh!!
Why the car in the first place?
Seems like a waste of time and energy from a desperate group of people.
Politically marked cars went out with the '68 Lincoln Continental
with the smiling politician in it.
Money would be better spent on
food for the volunteers.
Saw some guy in New West doing it as well. It's contagious.
Disagree. It's more show and ego
rather than practicality. Just
another distraction on the street
which the voter doesn't really need.
Corvette is all show, and not practical.
Would have been better to rent a
Budget van and use that as a sign
truck.
But Team Burnaby is mostly show anyway.
Too bad about the criminal record
