Full "budget"

The economic update the federal government is working on will be a full length budget according to government staff in Ottawa. However, this economic update will not be an official budget, merely a pre-election tuneup. Expect Liberal candidates across the nation to campaign on this pro-Canada "budget," arguing that the NDP and Conservatives will destroy all their plans for Liberal Canada if they do not get a fifth mandate.

federal Liberals will try to buy us off with our own money. Expect them to send "gifts" to "help the Lower Mainland".

Another sure thing is that Billy Cunningham will run, but won't have to face (or faze) the membership at a Nomination Meeting.

true to their support for democracy, the federal Liberals will appoint Billy Boy.

He actually did not do that badly last time around. With the same Conservative candidate running (a proven loser). He might have a chance to win this time around as he does not have to fight the Chretien stigma. Gomery or not he could prove to be a surprise in BD. Let's face it Martin has done some good things for BC compared to JC and an electorate faced with the Harper or "Honest Jack" the guy who looks like a used car salesman alternatives might vote Liberal.

Horses**t. Martin hasn't worked at all in helping B.C.as much as he could. He reduced the health care budget when he was Finance Minister and that threw the health care system into a tailspin.

Martin still hasn't returned 60% to 80% of fuel tax revenues to the Lower Mainland which could pay for improvements to the freeway including a second Port Mann Bridge.

He could also send a few lucrative
DND and Canadian Coast Guard vessel contracts to local shipyards.

Cunningham is protected. He has the inside track.

If he was really worth what he thinks he his, face the membership
in real nomination meeting, so he learn how to campaign properly.

The federal Liberals are corrupt
and don't deserve to earn another
term in office.
