One down. Three to go.
A year ago, the BC Liberals returned a reduced majority to Victoria. The NDP picked up many seats, including one in Burnaby.
Now it is time for your say. How have they done one year on?
Your Burnaby MLAs are:
And how have the BC Liberals done having made it half way into a "golden decade?"

Burnaby-Edmonds - Raj Chouhan, NDP
C- Average work habits, doesn't seem to be attuned to the issues of the day. Too much emphasis on
negativity, not much in positive solutions. Tends to be emphasising his own coveted issues rather than
the wider matrix. Requires improvement on research.
Burnaby North - Richard T. Lee, BC Liberals
B- Improvement over last term, still needs to get out into the riding. Good focus on Asiatic related issues, but somewhat poor on domestic issues. Doesn't expand much beyond the Asiatic community.
Has scheduled interactive sessions with the masses.
Burnaby-Willingdon - John Nuraney, BC Liberals
D - Poor contact with the voters.
Needs to interact more with the masses beyond his comfort level. Does require scheduled interactions with the masses.
Needs to get into an improvement programme if he is to win next time. Very vulnerable to defeat.
Burquitlam - Harry Bloy, BC Liberals
C - Average contact with the constituency, too much emphasis on
power. Would get rid of wearing the Scout uniform in the house.
Should tone down his "King of Coquitlam" mantra.
Reports of Harry trying to set his own people into the BC Liberal Party should be investigated and if proven correct, those individuals should be removed forthwith. No MLA should not be influencing how the party is run.
Needs improvement in interaction with others.
BC Liberals - Gordon Campbell:
A - Administrative skills.
Much improvement over the previous term, and delivers what he has promised. Should let go of his micromanaging style.
D - Publicity
Needs improvement in his demanour.
Still shows as being wooden and stiff. Needs to relate to the average voter.
BC Liberals - Government:
Policy - B+
Excellent governance overall, but fell far short of expectations in handling of the children's ministry, and the MLA pay raise.
Should continue the course, keep a steady hand on the budget.
A - Fiscal Management
Lessons learned from first term,
but still needs improvement in deliverance of social programmes.
Excellent return on union bargining, the signing bonus is a winner.
BC Liberals - Party:
F. Requires much improvement and replacement of key personnel is nessesary to get the party to a volunteer based group where everyone has a chance to contribute.
Too much micromanaging and power playing.
Needs improvements in communications to the membership.
Need to learn from the NDP on how to run a volunteer based party.
Should establish a publicly accessible office.
What is important, is that you read the truth on http://bcpolyblog.blogspot.com
The BC Liberals have turned around this province. They have corrected most of the mistakes and wrong doings of the NDP and are moving us forward.
Some of the errors of the NDP will be with us for a very long time.
The BC Liberals have made errors themselves, but not nearly as much or as bad as the NDP.
Paul is out of his league and just needs to criticise for the sake of criticising. If he is not attacking something he looses it!
Anyone doing better than him is a GREAT target.
I voted Conservative and even I have to ask... when is BC Poly Blog gonna stop spamming BC's webspace?
POLY RULES !
Have you not read it dude?
It's gotta be the funniest thing I have seen/read. Bonus: It's about Politics and it's slammin the NDiPpers and their support groups.
HELLO??
http://www.bcpolyblog.blogspot.com/
Steve; congrats, you voted conservative. Was that to get us to like you? trust you? think you are intelligent? ...what's with that??
Poly beats reading the dribble on here. Brock and Paul gotta do somthin to livin this up a little!
Hey Grandy, you could help too! Might as well get Shaun to help as well.
Never beat the Poly though.
This blog is sooo boring when compared to Poly!
But you can't really blame Brock , its hard to spend enough time to come up with exciting material when you have to keep looking over your shoulder to make sure the PMO guys don't catch you doing what you're not supposed to be doing!
It must be easy for Poly to come up with juvenile attacks against the NDP when you're paid by the BC Liberal Party to do it.
...or because the NDP are so corrupt and poorly managed. As for "juvenile" try reading it again. The Poly is breaking internal NDP stories. Perhaps just like Brock and Grandy writing this Blog, some bitter Dippers write the Poly? Either way just read it.
