DaVinci's City Hall it's not

The new Burnaby City Council dropped the gloves tonight. Second-term mayor Derek Corrigan ignored his new opposition from Gary Begin and Garth Evans who now join Lee Rankin on council. The TEAM Burnaby supporters in the crowd were not pleased by the re-elected mayor's behaviour. So it goes.

I didn't realize that not kowtowing to a minority of councillors was considered ignoring. I'll add that to my dictionary.

The real question is where was John Nuraney. The 3 other MLAs, the two MPs, and a wide assortment of hangers on were there but the Willingdon Lib was nowhere to be seen. Doesn't he care about our city?

John cares about the city. He doesn't need to be seen everywhere and act like he's someone important like Harry Bloy does.

John does the work, Harry just wants the show.

Nuraney is respectable, a tag Harry Bloy doesn't share.

John is a class act.

Harry is an act in class.

Why does Harry Bloy always make onto the comments even though the original item does not mention him.
Is the perennial loser Bart H posting here. Next thing you know we will have quotes from Karl Marx.

Harry Bloy is the prime example of
a politician drunk with power.

"For the bureaucrat, the world is a mere object to be manipulated by him."

Meh, I met Healey more than I did Bloy, and Healey isn't my MLA. Go figure.
