Burnaby's Imperialism
Yesterday two candidates with links to Burnaby were nominated to seek federal office. In Vancouver Centre, former Douglas MP Svend Robinson was nominated for the NDP. In Newton-North Delta, fishery advocate Phil Eidsvik was acclaimed for the Tories.

The ethnic factor in Newton-North Delta is going to work against Eidsvik.
Svend looks good in Vancouver Center though.
It will be interesting to see if Hedy takes the gloves off if whe feels her seat is threatened. Svend is an easy target with the ring thing.
His stress and bipolar defence does not look good for a person running for office.
After all who needs another MP who does strange things when he gets stressed out and is bipolar.
Vcr Centre has an Liberal MP who does strange things even without being bipolar.
Don't forget, there are crosses on Prince George lawns burning this very minute! Won't somebody please think of the children!
We are thinking of the children.
That's why there are many of us doing what we can to prevent the federal Liberals from getting a majority government.
and a few of us doing what we can to prevent Billy Boy from being MP.
"the ethnic factor" - are you a parizeau fan, steve?
Phil Eidsvic is a loser in my books
He ran in his HOME riding and came dead last in the nomination race (probably why they rigged the nomination for him)
He comes across as anti native rights (the last thing the conservatives need)
He just went to an NDP fundraiser dinner (I know you don't have to say it)
Also the latest is that a ton of people including people who got screwed around in the nomination have left the riding and party and are active with other camps because of the nomination process rigging!
What were there no drunken, one eyed, peg leged sailors left in town? LOL
I guess the conservatives have forgotten BC again!
This seat goes NDP
