Looking for a new Pynenburg

Liberal leader Stephane Dion is down at the New Westminster Quay later this morning for a photo op relating to social housing.

Maybe while he is down there he can find a few more potential candidates for the Burnaby-New Westminster nomination.

The Georgia Straight is giving C grades to Burnaby MLAs John Nuraney and Richard Lee for their work over the last two years in Victoria.

Will this one quit too?

Lily Harvey looks like she is running to be the next Liberal candidate in Burnaby-New Westminster. (Supposedly she does web design.)

Longtime Liberal Gerry Lenoski dropped out of the race to endorse not so longtime Liberal and ex-NDP candidate Steve McClurg a few weeks back. Soon after that McClurg dropped out leaving the Liberals with no one to take on Peter Julian.

Rumours are already circulating that the party will put a female candidate in another unwinable riding like they have been doing in snap nominations across the province.
